John Tuxworth

Executive Director, Built Environment Collective

John Tuxworth is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, the immediate Past President of the Australian Green Development Forum (AGDF), and is the Executive Director of Built Environment Collective (BEC) - an Australian-based multi-national engineering and project management consultancy. John’s first exposure to Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) was whilst working on the Greenwich Millennium Village development in London in 1998, with renowned European architect, Ralph Erskine. John has championed sustainability in the construction industry since that time. Since establishing BEC John has provided sustainability consultancy support for the proposed Tropical North Global Tourism Hub (GTH) for the Queensland Government, The 170ha Bangkok One development, and for the United Nations campus in Ethiopia.
