Getting there

Airport transfers

The closest airport is Gold Coast Airport and it is a 30-minute drive to and from the convention centre.

Brisbane Airport is a 60-minute drive to and from the convention centre.

Public transport

Tram: The G:Link is located directly in front of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (less than 150 metres away). Services operate seven days a week approximately every 7-15 minutes.

Bus: Buses frequently stop directly in front of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Taxis & rideshare

Ask your taxi or rideshare to drop you off at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. Taxis and rideshares can drop guests off from the main entrance that is covered and has no guttering or steps.

The GCCEC reception desk can organise a taxi service or use the courtesy phone located in the foyer.

Parking

Undercover car spaces are available for short-term parking, including two EV chargers. A $15 inclusive of GST flat rate is charged for parking at the centre. Clearance height: 2.1 metres.

National Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA)

The Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA) exist to recognise, honour and promote outstanding achievements in program and project leadership. With 13 award categories for both organisations and individuals, the awards are an opportunity for the project management community in Australia to recognise excellence and promote outstanding achievements in program and project leadership. Awards will be presented at chapter level in August 2023 and state winners have now progressed through to the national awards.

General information

When and where will the 2023 AIPM National Conference take place?

The conference will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibiton Centre from 29 – 31 October 2023 with the Project Management Achievement Awards being held on Monday 30 October at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

When and where will the Project Management Achievement Awards take place?

The Project Management Achievement Awards will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on 30 October 2023 from 6:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Business/Smart Casual is the dress code for the conference.

Business/Cocktail is the dress code for the PMAA Dinner.

Yes, complimentary wifi will be available to all attendees at the event.

How do I access the member discount?

Current financial members of AIPM can select the member rate when registering online at the registration site.

You will be required to enter your membership number during registration.

The member discount is strictly available for AIPM current members only.

Can we pay via tax invoice?

Yes you can! We can issue you a tax invoice for your accounts department if required. Simply select this payment option when you get to the payment page on the registration site.

Is there a virtual ticket option?

Virtual tickets are not available for this event

Can I share my registration?

We are afraid  not. Sharing of registrations is not permitted. One registration may not be utilised by several individuals.

Can I cancel or transfer my registration?

Yes, you may transfer your registration to a replacement delegate at no extra charge.

Cancellations must be made in writing to the AIPM conference managers.

What if I catch COVID or become a close contact and are unable to attend?

Program

How do I pick up my badge at the event?

Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. Prior to the event, you will receive additional information regarding registering and picking up your badge at the event.

How do I ask questions during the sessions?

We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the event app. Questions are submitted to the Chairperson and will be reviewed and placed into the queue for the Q&A segment.

Will there be multiple sessions going on at the same time?

Some sessions are scheduled to run concurrently. When the program has been released, you can review the program to see all the session topics and speakers

What functions are available throughout the conference?

There are two functions available throughout the conference. Your registration type will dictate if these are included, please indicate if you will be attending during your registration.
